School Camps

Students have the opportunity to attend camps in Years Two, Three, Four, Five and SixCamps are a great opportunity for students to develop independence, initiative and team building skills. Our Camps program offers students a variety of experiences. 

Year Two

Our Year Two Pyjama Party is a special event designed to give students a fun and gentle introduction to the idea of school camp. Students return to school in their pyjamas and enjoy an evening filled with exciting activities and games, followed by a shared dinner with teachers and friends.

The next morning, students return to school bright and early for a delicious breakfast and another day of fun and connection. This experience helps build independence and confidence in a supportive and familiar environment, the perfect first step toward future school camps!

Briars Camp

Year Three

Students in Year Three spend one night at the Briars Camp in Mount Martha. Here they complete many activities including, hut building, the giant swing, damper making, completing an obstacle course and archery. The aim of the camp is to build students’ independence, interpersonal and personal learning with a physical education focus. 

Year Four

Our Year Four camp program at Cave Hill Creek focuses on developing a child’s love for the outdoors through challenging and fun activities – from canoeing, abseiling, mountain biking and ropes courses, to archery, hut and raft building, bushwalks, orienteering, bush cooking and so much more!

Year Five

Year Five students continue building up their independence, initiative and social skills when they spend four days at “The Island” located in Cowes on Phillip Island. They currently test their nerve on the Giant Swing, Flying Fox and mechanical wall amongst other activities. Students also get a chance to visit A Maze’N Things, Smiths Beach and enjoying the wildlife at the Penguin Parade and Phillip Island Wildlife Park. 

Year Six

Year Six students travel up to Canberra for a week to learn about Australia’s democracy and explore our nation’s capital. Some of the highlights of the trip are the visits to Parliament House, Old  Parliament House, The Australian Institute of Sport, The High Court, Questacon, the embassy drive and the National Gallery.
